Black Oak Coffee’s project to continue to support an organization dedicated to women’s health in coffee producing countries is the only one of its kind in the United States

Notes of Pomelo, Cacao and Hints of Rose

El Renacer Tasting Notes

Bright sweet citrus notes of meyer lemon and pomelo compose the opening notes. Cacao makes up the bulk of the middle portion of the cup with notes ranging from milk chocolate to cacao nibs, depending on the brew method. Finishes with subtle floral notes of rose and honeysuckle.

About The Coffee Producer

El Renacer is produced by Luz Midia Murci of Finca Chambaku, a farm Black Oak has been working with for five years. Luz has worked on the farm for several years. Her hard work, intelligence, and dedication to the coffee craft earned her a section of the farm where she cultivates Pink Bourbon, Castillo and Caturra varieties. She named her section of the farm El Renacer.

Black Oak purchased the entirety of this season’s harvest exported from El Renacer and hope to be able to do so again for many years to come.

How To Brew This Washed Process Single Origin

A 1:14 brew ratio with a medium grind and 198-202°F yields delicious, well-balanced cups.
