Tom Chandler, Black Oak’s green coffee buyer, placed first in the US Cup Taster Championship qualifier earlier this month.

Steve Cuevas, our head roaster, placed third in the US Roaster Championship, as well as 6th place in the US Cup Taster Competition.

Both Tom and Steve will go on to represent us in the finals in April to compete for national titles. Tom is looking to improve upon his third place finish from last year, and Steve hopes to repeat his performance from 2017 when he was National Champion.
