Black Oak Coffee Roasters partners with World Coffee Research to support sustainable coffee production and secure the future of coffee.
Through this collaboration, we help fund research and innovation that improves coffee quality, enhances farmer livelihoods, and addresses challenges like climate change, ensuring a thriving coffee industry for generations to come.
Uplifting Female Farmers and Farm Workers
Our Female Farmer Coffee program is dedicated to empowering women in coffee production.
We source 100% of these coffees from female-owned farms and cooperatives, and 10% of profits directly support Grounds for Health, an organization improving healthcare for women in coffee-growing regions.
Supporting Local
Our partnership with Russian Riverkeeper is just one way we give back to the community that inspires us. Through our seasonal espresso blend, Redd, we donate 10% of profits to support the health and sustainability of the Russian River watershed, a vital connection between our Ukiah and Healdsburg cafes.
We are committed to supporting our local communities through meaningful partnerships and contributions. We work with organizations like the Mendocino County Sports Academy, Ukiah Players Theatre, Healdsburg Forever, Corazon, and local food banks in Windsor and Ukiah to strengthen and uplift the people in the places we call home. Beyond these, we’ve proudly supported hundreds of other local organizations with in-kind contributions, providing coffee and resources for fundraisers, events, and programs that make a difference.
