Saisho Konomi Matcha
Description
Umami, Sweetgrass, Toasted Rice
Early spring-picked ceremonial grade matcha with abundant grain-like sweetness, little astringency, and a subtly savory finish.
~section 2~
This matcha is a perfect balance of sweet, bitter, and savory. The vibrantly green vegetal notes are rather subdued and are balanced with deep oceanic tones. Sweetgrass, toasted grain, and a mild nuttiness round out the cup

Brew Notes
Traditionally, about two grams (one non-heaped teaspoon) of matcha is added to the brewing vessel before adding 75ml (a third of a cup) of water around 175℉ and whisking vigorously until all the clumps are dissolved and there is a fine layer of foam.
For larger volumes as well as lattes, we recommend scaling the ratio mentioned above. For instance, a 12 oz beverage would use six grams of matcha and one cup of water for brewing. We highly recommend adding a considerably smaller amount of 175℉ water (~⅓ cup), whisking to dissolve the matcha entirely, and then adding the remaining volume of water. This technique will greatly reduce the amount of clumping in the final beverage.

Saisho Konomi Matcha
This matcha is hands down the best I have ever had. It's not overly bitter and it incorporates into warm water really well (no weird chunks). I recommend to anyone looking for a good quality matcha.
