Espresso or Drip
An Extremely Versatile Blend for Coffee Lovers of All Kinds

About This Coffee
Duomo is our full-bodied Northern Italian style blend with a rich roasted flavor and just a bit of bitter-sweetness - just like those beautifully simple yet complex espresso drinks you’ll find along the cobbled streets in Florence or Milan.
As versatile as it is delicious, this espresso blend is roasted for a distinctly Italian espresso style, but it also shows beautifully as a drip coffee.
How To Brew
We love brewing Duomo as espresso with an 18-gram dose about 1.75 ounces (36-40 grams) of liquid espresso. Depending on your machine, the total shot time should vary from 20-30 seconds.
Use our brew guides for a good jumping off point with your preferred brewer.

Dumo Espresso has been my morning drink for over 6 years. I am in the coffee club so I can have it delivered to my home. The City Garden Donut shop in Santa Rosa, CA used Dumo and I was sold. The sad thing it's no longer City Garden because Alan and his wife moved to Oregon.
My cousin lives in Ukiah and frequently comes in for coffee!
The Best!!!!
Full flavored and smooth drinking. An enjoyable cup of morning coffee.
I miss living near Black Oak! It’s our favorite coffee shop and the Duomo is my all time favorite coffee so glad we can order online!
I love this coffee. I use it to make Vietnamese. It’ has a rich taste.
We had our first cup of Duomo coffee this year during our annual trip to Healdsburg. Both my husband and I were impressed. Hesitant to try it at home, as nothing tastes as good as it does on the coast or in wine country, we gambled. The gamble paid off. Just as great as it was in Healdsburg. We will definitely be getting more.
I'm a light roast / pour over guy so it's hard for me to find a good espresso roast. I want something rich and good for a milky drink, but I don't want that Italian bitterness. This strikes me as a good balance - I COULD drink this straight and not wince, but it's absolutely perfect in a cortado or cappuccino.
Love the beautiful flavor profile of the Duomo. Black Oak has the best customer support too.
The only coffee I drink. Excellent.
Man, I love this roast! I am pulling exceptionally balanced shots, it’s my new favorite by a wide margin. My house guests are raving about it too. Espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, all shine!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Ps: S.F. needs a Black Oak coffee shop!!!
Many many years on my quest for the coffee of my dreams. A friend stumbled onto the Duomo. I have found my holy grail
Love this coffee! It is just perfect way to start my day.
Excellent traditional espresso bean, I'm a noob when It comes to coffee, for now I only know what I like and what I don't, and I love it. It's also very, very important to me when the roaster provides a recipe making it easier to replicate the flavor the roaster wanted to achieve.
I try espresso from many well regarded roasters and this the best for what I’m looking for in great coffee taste
A couple of years ago we took the family out to California for a vacation. While stocking up on supplies at the grocery store, we bought some Black Oak Duomo. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Since then, we have ordered it a couple of times. This time we went BiG and ordered the 5lb bag!!
We have these beans in our espresso machine on a regular basis. It never disappoints! We follow the calibration recommendations provided by Black Oak and get a perfect cup every time!! We love Duomo. It tastes pretty good as a pour over, too.
This coffee is pretty good. I decided to try it out when my brand coffee switched their beans for a taste which I most definitely do not enjoy. I make all of my coffee at home every morning with a pour over set up. Black. Same process virtually every day. While this coffee is exceptionally smooth, I am simply a normal sort of Joe, who likes a very tasty but quite standard cup of joe, and this coffee is a bit too rich of a price per pound vs. some other bean factories out there. But if that doesn't bother you then do not be dissuaded, this is a smooth cup of coffee.
So far, my favorite! Balanced flavor without the bitterness.
Brought a bag home to my daughter in Santa Ynez that I purchased on a road trip through Ukiah. She liked it so much I’ve subscribed for regular shipments. :)
Great coffee. I served it to a friend, and they are now customers of Black Oak Coffee
Absolutely enjoyed. Looking at starting a subscription
Rich, and full flavored. It has a much more complex flavor profile than most espresso roasts without being overly fruity. It hits my preferred taste notes almost perfectly. I subscribed to this roast so I never have to go without!
This is pretty much the only coffee I use. It’s consistently way better than anything I can get locally where I live despite many good options and hands down the winner in my various experiments.
An amazing well balanced coffee, perfectly roasted.
Had this coffee in Healdsburg over a year ago and loved it. I have found that with a discount and free shipping, it's comparable in price to buying locally. Worth it!
I bought at tiny market when I was passing through Elk on Hwy 1. I decided to give it a try and run it through my existing grind setting for my espresso machine. Holy cow! It came out w/ that perfect caramel crema and packed w/ flavor. It has that perfect sweet finish that's elusive to get. I normally run Intelligensia Black Cat, Stumptown Hairbender, Tonys Sugarbee, and a few central CA coast small roasters I can get locally but this is now my favorite.
I mix Duomo with Minas Light Roast or with a lighter Kona. It's great mixed with Wagon Wheel too, if you like a darker roast...
Duomo: If you're out, you have a real problem, so I get it in 5lb bags.
After buying an espresso machine for home and after countless bags of coffee, we finally found Duomo! It’s well balanced and rich. Fantastic
If you prefer comfort espresso over third wave then this roast is an outstanding choice!
Love at first sip! Rich, deep coffee flavor. Not oily or bitter. Roasted to perfection. Where has this been all my life?
My favorite coffee hands down. The quality of the beans and masterful roasting is top notch. The flavor is bright with wonderful mocha chocolate notes. Highly suggested to everyone who will listen!
Excellent espresso!
Delicious in our espresso machine. Nice crema and smooth finish.
