Coffee Tasting Notes

Opens with berry notes including strawberry, and blueberry. The sweet berry and milk chocolate notes are balanced with lime and citrus acidity. Floral notes such as jasmine and honeysuckle are also present in the complex cups of this interesting natural-processed Ethiopian coffee.

About The Coffee Producer

Wuri Natural is from the unique Gedeb region of Ethiopia. Gedeb is located in the south of the Gedeo Zone, which borders the Guji region of Ethiopia. The proximity to both of these legendary growing regions, puts coffee mills in Gedeb in the unique position of being able to sample and purchase coffee cherries from both Gedeo and Guji.

This particular lot is composed of top grade coffee cherries that were sun-dried on raised beds in a single layer for uniform fermentation and drying. Once dried and milled the coffee was sorted by a color sorting machine and then once again hand sorted to remove any defects, resulting in a zero-defect green coffee.

How To Brew This Specialty Coffee

We recommend starting with a 1:15 brew ratio. Using more water will help highlight the floral notes, while concentrating the brew will better highlight the chocolate notes. Brew water should be between 195-205°F.
